My name is Regan Bruck and I am the quilter and designer behind Moxli Designs.
I have been sewing and crafting most of my life, but it wasn’t until about six years ago that I discovered my true passion: quilting.
Five years ago I bought my first longarm and since then have rarely been off of it! I have a passion feathers and fine quilting and I have worked hard over these past five years to ensure they are good enough for anyone’s quilt (including mine!). I feel confident in quilting all types of patterns, whether overall meanders or fine custom quilting.
I cannot go further without giving a shout out to my quilt guild, Stray Threads, as they were instrumental in teaching me what I know about quilting. Five years ago I was their newsletter editor, then three years ago, their Vice President. In May of 2015 I stepped down as President after a standard two year term. Stray Threads is one of the friendliest and most helpful quilt guilds in the Northwest!
I live in Bothell, Washington with my husband, Lewis, and my son, Max. We have two large dogs, Liesl (Bernese Mountain Dog) and Maple (Landseer Newfoundlander), as well as two rescue cats (Plato and Aslan). I keep all batting and quilt tops/bottoms away from the pets!
I quilt on an A1 Elite longarm, which I love due to its smooth and quiet ride.
When I’m not quilting, I’m hanging with my family, playing board or video games with them, or reading.
